Professional Advantage
My professional journey began at Professional Advantage – an IT company based in North Sydney. As a Graphic Designer, they provided a platform to learn and grow in a variety of design practices such as print, branding, signage, event design, illustrations, digital, web building and UX design.

ROLE:
Graphic Designer
Working with the team
Working with several Graphic Designers in our Sydney premises, I also had the opportunity to lead and manage a team based in our Manila office. I worked closely with the Marketing Team and was involved from concept development, creating the artwork all the way to production with printers.
Marketing collateral
The variety of work ranged from print-based to digital as well as online art. Print collateral included projects such as branding, flyers, direct mailers, brochures, magazine ads, signage and exhibition stands. The production of digital graphics included website design, wireframes, eDMs, e-books, powerpoint and infographics.
Branding Project
One of the projects I worked on was redesigning the company style guide. We went through a brand refresh and needed to redefine new design standards.

Marketing
UX Design
The SharePoint Team started taking me to client sites to assist them in running design workshops. I would help provide design advice, solutions and wireframe mocks for their intranet site. Once the client is happy with the overall look and feel, I supply the design assets to the SharePoint Team to help complete the build.
Presentations & Workshops
Other projects included working on PowerPoint presentations for the Marketing Team. This involved sourcing imagery, creating new layouts, designing infographics and working with typography. I also hosted training workshops for the Marketing Team to help up-skill them in HTML5 and CSS3.
